Old Man's Keep (Basement Demo)

lyrics

Here is where we called our dear old Zim,
Here is where the sun it used to shine.
Then the Old Man sat down upon his throne,
And the world left us behind...

It's a petty operation,
To disenfranchise all the land.
Try to restore "nationalism",
And forget the common man.
And the burned out slums that are bordering your home,
Are a tell-tale sign of what your tyranny has done.
So cut your losses, leave these people that you've broken,
'Cuz if you would only listen you would know they've already spoken.

Forever hold your shattered peace,
Oh, victims of the Old Man's keep.

Well no one likes a critic,
When his reviews all disappoint.
But when you go and bomb his building,
You think he just might have a point?
And the truth Old Man is that you don't give a damn,
As long as television crews can't tape your dying land.
So lie to all the cameras, redirect the blame,
Cuz God knows you've gone too far to clear you bloodied name...

Forever hold your shattered peace,
Oh, victims of the Old Man's keep.

The Radium Girls Boston, Massachusetts

We played all over Rochester and released a demo in 2008, but we craved more - and with lots of coffee, we finished our debut album 'From the Woodwork'. We graduated in 2011 and moved to Boston, so we can make it big like Bon Jovi. ... more
