Here is where we called our dear old Zim
Here is where the sun it used to shine
Then the Old Man sat down upon his throne
And the world left us behind
It's a petty operation
To disenfranchise all the land
Try to restore "nationalism"
And forget the common man
And the burned out slums that are bordering your home
Are a tell-tale sign of what your tyranny has done
So cut your losses, leave these people that you've broken
Cuz if you would only listen you would know they've already spoken
Forever hold your shattered peace
Oh victims of the Old Man's keep
Well no one likes a critic
When his reviews all dissapoint
But when you go and bomb his building
You think he just might have a point?
And the truth Old Man is that you don't give a damn
As long as television crews can't tape your dying land
So lie to all the cameras, redirect the blame
Cuz God knows you've gone too far to clear you bloodied name
Forever hold your shattered peace
Oh victims of the Old Man's keep

In the winter's snow two roads diverged
The choice between stood as night and day
With unsure footing, we set off
Meaning lost to haste
We turned away from the motorcycle tracks
It hit us then, the gravity
We the righteous, sitting in the kitchen
Hardly daring to breathe
Postmaster general what news have you?
Postmaster anything at all?
If you could only give us legs to stand on
Or this hope might kill us all
This hope might kill us all
We never spoke of the terror 'neath our floor boards
As if ashamed of our own humanity
Our ears stayed fixed on the roaring winter wind
For an engine or a siren's scream
Claude grabbed a bottle and his violin
We lived each night as if it were our last
As we'd retire I would lie awake
With the righteous sleeping fast
Postmaster general what news have you?
Postmaster anything at all?
Is it true the Allies have made it to the beaches?
Oh this hope might kill us all
Yeah this hope might kill us all
Postmaster general what news have you?
Postmaster anything at all?
Could it be that the end is upon us?
Oh this hope just might kill us all
Yeah this hope just might kill us all

Here is where we called our dear old Zim,
Here is where the sun used to shine,
Then the old man sat down upon his throne,
And the world left us behind...
Yet you might find your home a smoking heap of rubble
If your cries of "What is wrong here?", fall upon the wrong ears
Forever hold your shattered peace
Oh victims of the Old Man's keep

Those of the spoken right of the proven hollow
Their views have proven narrow and ranged
But we're the agents of a new tomorrow
We'll effect the necessary change
(You can't blind these open eyes
From the truth of the higher man's song
You can't teach me right from wrong
When what I hold is my own)
We manifest, we protest in numbers
Naivety finds comfort in the crowd
We don't always know just what we're saying
But we sure as hell are gonna say it loud
We're the champions of your college meal plan
With an arsenal of talking points and spam
A cavalry of oversimplification
Unbiased, unpartisan

Johnny was a race car driver,
Johnny was a train conductor,
But Mrs. Halloway didn't like that one bit
Johnny is a class disruptor,
Johnny has a deficit disorder,
Well the doctor says that seems to fit (in a world where)
CHORUS
De-institutionalization
Makes a market for the home made asylum
Every problem has a simple solution
When growing up amounts to sedation
Johnny's a little older now,
He's got a little perspective now,
Got a huge chip on his shoulder top
Doctor says Johnny listen,
Teacher says Johnny listen,
Momma says Johnny listen, but Johnny says fuck off
CHORUS
If it's not broke don't fix it!
If it's not broke don't fix it!
If it's not broke don't fix it!
If it's not broke don't fix it!

The Radium Girls Boston, Massachusetts
We began playing together freshman year in college, which mostly was just daydreaming and not cutting our hair. This happened in a tiny room, barely able to fit us. We played all over Rochester and released a demo in 2008, but we craved more - and with lots of coffee, we finished our debut album 'From the Woodwork'. We graduated in 2011 and moved to Boston, so we can make it big like Bon Jovi. ... more
