VERSE 1: They came running with their pitchforks To the deputy they ran Too many times he'd missed conviction But this time he'd get his man Out rage trumps protocol Leaving good men blind Pursuing only answers Towards the murderous deadline CHORUS: Oh wasted youth is on our hands Open your hearts to understand Remember the human cost In the wake of this paradise lost VERSE 2: Well they sat em' in the court room And three now faced the blame Black shirts and devil music To corroborate their claim And fifteen years gone down the road Saving graces at your door How dare you call them godless And continue to ignore CHORUS: Oh wasted youth is on our hands Open your hearts to understand Remember the human cost In the wake of this paradise lost [BREAKDOWN] Have we learned, have we learned nothing? Cry for the blood that stands to spill. Have we no, have we learned nothing? Out from the heart of these Robin Hood Hills. Have we no, no, no, no, have we learned nothing? Can you swallow this bitterest pill? Have we no... CHORUS: Oh wasted youth is on our hands Open your hearts to understand Remember the human cost In the wake of this paradise lost

Citizen 403 02:10
My name is citizen 403 And I'm guilty of my crime But your patriot act and thought police Have caught me just in time God forbid I spread dissent Among the masses far and wide This police state is far too great To erode from the inside CHORUS: Woah oh oh oh oh oh oh You caught me my hands are red So strap me down and break my will Make a citizen of me yet Woah oh oh oh oh oh oh The party is safe again So celebrate a job well done With a bullet through my head What to do with such a rogue? Just send me to iraq It's intelligent, efficient And I probably won't come back Or send me to Guantanamo to be a bit humane Because there they'll never kill a man Just torture and detain CHORUS: Woah oh oh oh oh oh oh You caught me my hands are red So strap me down and break my will Make a citizen of me yet Woah oh oh oh oh oh oh The party is safe again So celebrate a job well done With a bullet through my head My name is citizen 403 And I'm guilty of my crime Because thinking loud and speaking out Are treason in these times

VERSE 1: Well I won't speak with words But you damn well better understand There's a meaning in my movement There's a motive in my hand There's an idle gap that needs filling Where comforting words might be So on towards the peace of striking this disease From the safer, the easy VERSE 2: You're gonna be my guiding light You're gonna heed my final call You're gonna be the savior for the ones I love the most The ones I love better than myself Forgiving my every falter With the warmth of your sweet embrace The careless suggestion, the unspoken Dead to the self-effaced CHORUS Soon to swallow ten and I'm gonna make it better Gonna hold my breath tight, I'm gonna make it better Gonna carve this burden, I'm gonna make it better Your silences speak volumes, and I'm gonna make it better VERSE 3: Don't even dare to blink You just might miss the point The inconvenient struggle To never disappoint There's a beauty in resolution Forever bittersweet There's a face and a name and a number to claim The martyr in memory CHORUS Soon to swallow ten and I'm gonna make it better Gonna hold my breath tight, I'm gonna make it better Gonna carve this burden, I'm gonna make it better Your silences speak volumes, and I'm gonna make it better You'll never make it better... You'll never make it better... You'll never make it better... You'll never make it better...

about

The Radium Girls Boston, Massachusetts

We began playing together freshman year in college, which mostly was just daydreaming and not cutting our hair. This happened in a tiny room, barely able to fit us. We played all over Rochester and released a demo in 2008, but we craved more - and with lots of coffee, we finished our debut album 'From the Woodwork'. We graduated in 2011 and moved to Boston, so we can make it big like Bon Jovi. ... more
